Congruency

Leadership, in community

Volunteers.  Constituents.  The public.  Whether in congregations or communities, the truth is we can't always choose our colleagues and compatriots.  This mix, when it works, is ego-building.  And when it doesn't?  Contact us.  We can coach you to better handle those who are challenging, and we can equip your board to improve its interaction with each other and whoever shows up.

Julie M. Cowie of Congruency is, herself, a public official and a member of the clergy.  Ordained twenty years ago, and elected to office in 2004, Julie Cowie knows both the moral and fiscal constraints and obligations such leaders have.

And, as a gubernatorial appointee since 2005, Julie is well aware of the complex challenges and limits many of us in Michigan (and elsewhere) face while trying to creatively and constructively improve lives--personally and professionally.
